The Sunday roast is one of the few British institutions Pattaya does properly, and for a lot of people here it is the fixed point of the week. Some of the best go unadvertised — the roast at the Hideaway barely appears in its online reviews at all, and turned up on this list because I ate one. Two different things go by the name: all-you-can-eat carveries, where you go back for more and pick sides off a tick-sheet, and roasts cooked to order, where one plate arrives and it is a better plate. Both are worth having, so the list says which is which. Service usually starts around noon and the good ones sell out or stop carving well before closing, so ring ahead — every place here takes bookings, and Sunday is the one day it matters.
